On June 3, 2021, Kristen Mackintosh, The Happy Lawyer, was delighted to present “Let’s Give ‘m Something to Taco About:  Choosing the Right Entity for Your Small Business” at the Small Business Expo.  And yes, Kristen explained what tacos have to do with choosing your small business entity!.  

Father’s Day is coming up soon.  If you are still struggling for a Father’s Day gift idea, why not an estate plan?  Nothing says I love you more than protecting your loved ones.

MEET SAMANTHA:

Samantha Heeley graduated from UNCW in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and a minor in Forensic Science. Before coming to join Schweizer & Associates she worked as a paralegal in criminal, family, and traffic law. She has experience in legal research, customer service, and project management.

In her spare time, Samantha enjoys running her small businesses for various art endeavors that include wood burning, photography, and painting. She has been published several times in a few North Carolina photography magazines and is eager to further her artistic ventures. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, at museums, and at art festivals, as well as spending time with her friends, family, and pets.

MEET JULIA

Julia A. Gillies graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2020 (go Tar Heels!) with a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and a minor in Computer Science. During her time at UNC, Julia enjoyed volunteering to serve the community mainly through the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity and NCPIRG’s environmental campaigns. She has experience in legal research, consulting services, and the nonprofit industry.
In her spare time, Julia enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exercising, and trying out new hobbies. 

The cookies are back!  Yes, now that COVID is ending, we have brought back the homemade cookies.  When you come to our office, you will be able to sample fresh, homemade cookies.  The cookies change every week….
